Hello, my name is Ken North. I am a graphic artist living in Derbyshire. All my work is inspired by the Derbyshire hills and the various resevoirs and lakes in the area. My whole life has been spent in the creative industry, previously as an advertising/design Art Director, Creative Director and later I opened my own design practice.
The work here represents a desire for calm I felt during the Covid pandemic. The gentle curves of the hills and the still water reflections combined with harmonious colours gave me the sense of calm I was looking for.
I hope it does the same for you.
